Indian state-run utility NTPC has issued a tender for 20MW of floating solar PV at its gas power station in Anta in the state of Rajasthan.

The tender includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading, storage, installation and commissioning of the grid-connected solar system.

The successful bidder will also provide O&M services for a period of three years. The deadline for submission of techno-commercial bids is 13 February 2019.

Indian conglomerate Shapoorji Pallonji won the country’s first major grid-connected floating solar tender for 50MW of capacity at a tariff of INR3.29/kWh (US$0.047) at Rihand dam in Uttar Pradesh last November.
