Rinnai Australia, owned by Japanese appliance manufacturer Rinnai Corporation, has expanded into the solar PV and energy storage space by acquiring Smart Energy Group.
The company filed two complaints in the Munich and Hamburg local divisions of the UPC, regarding tunnel oxide passivated contact (TOPCon) solar cell patent infringements.
Signed through a 20-year PPA with Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDP), a state-owned company, the electricity generated from the plant will be sold at a fixed price of US$0.1094/kWh.
