NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC), a joint venture between renewables developer ACWA Power, gas company Air Products and the futuristic city project NEOM, has reached financial close on a Saudi green hydrogen plant with US$8.4 billion.
Sungrow has signed an agreement to supply 2.1GW worth of inverters to the Al Shuaibah PV project in Saudi Arabia, which will be the largest solar farm in the world once it reaches operations.
The projects will be realised by the end of this decade and will represent around US$1 billion in investment, according to Founder & CEO of Edelen Renewables, Adam Edelen.
