Enel North America  and global food giant Nestlé have partnered on a Texas solar-plus-storage project with both an investment and a power purchase agreement (PPA) in place.

The Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed solar power plant will also include a battery energy storage system to meet the demand at night.

The first phase of the 936MWdc project has been in construction since March 2021.
