Guangzhou Development New Energy Co., Ltd. recently began the bidding process for procurement of PV modules for 2021 and 2022. The procurement process is divided into two bidding sections with a total procurement scale of 1.08GW. The power threshold for the PV modules in the two bidding sections is set in advance, with module current not to exceed 15A, illustrating that system safety and high power are equally important. Limiting the current level of modules can effectively improve a project’s economic efficiency, also providing a strong guarantee of system safety and compatibility.
