Krinner expands operations to North America

Screw foundations manufacturer Krinner Schraubfundamente has opened a facility in Ontario, Canada, expanding its operations into North America.

Krinner, a subsidiary of Krinner GmbH, produces screws used in the assembly of mounting systems for PV power systems.

Randy Hope, mayor of Chatham-Kent where the plant will be located, said: “The arrival of this international company to Chatham-Kent is great news. This is fantastic for the community. To be the chosen location for a new North American company to establish its roots is quite impressive.''

According to local newspaper, Chatham Daily News, the company will be recruiting 20 people including machine operators, welders, forklift operators and management and administrative staff for its Park Avenue East location.

Krinner president Michael Krinner said: “We explored a number of potential sites in south-western Ontario and Chatham-Kent proved to be the best choice.”
