China-based solar firm Risen Energy is to supply 62MW of PV modules to Hoang Son for a project in Ninh Thuan Province, Vietnam.
Hoang Son is looking to complete the project in mid-2019 in order to benefit from the feed-in tariff (FiT) offered by the Vietnamese government and needs to receive the modules within three months.
Risen Energy CMO Bypina Chaudary said: “It’s a challenge for Risen Energy to deliver the products within three months, but we will do everything we can to have a perfect arrangement to meet this requirement with a high quality, which is our promise to all customers not only in Vietnam but also in the world.”
Risen Energy had already won three projects in Vietnam in 2018, including a 61MW project and two 50MW EPC projects in Ninh Thuan.
Chaudary added: “This is a beginning for Risen Energy to develop in Vietnam PV market. Now we have set a new capacity target in Vietnam aiming to optimize the energy structure.”
