Solon has signed an agreement with Greek company, NRG-Orion, for the delivery of 1.5MWp of solar modules. The Solon modules will be used to construct a ground-mounted PV system at the headquarters of canned peach company, Kronos. Once complete, this will be Greece’s largest single axis tracking solar power plant to date.

“Thanks to its geographic conditions Greece has a great potential for solar energy. The successful conclusion of the contract confirms our opinion that this country is a market with good future prospects,” says Stefan Säuberlich, CEO of Solon. “We are happy to be able to offer our customers premium-quality solar modules by Solon and to confirm our leading position in the Greece solar market through this project,” says Theodosios Matopoulos, general manager of NRG-Orion.
