Korea-based PV module manufacturer S-Energy Co has had a new multicrystalline 1,500V module certified by UL for the US market.

Targeting the North American commercial- and utility-scale markets, S-Energy said its new module enables a significant reduction in installation cost of approximately 10% due to 50% longer strings, and the need for less combiners and cabling when in 1,500V configuration, compared to conventional 1,000V systems.
