Solar
Power Conference & Expo 2008 looks set to build on its successful
event in 2007 to provide a wealth of exhibitors, vendors, conference
sessions and workshops at its event in San Diego’s Convention Center
from October 13th to 16th. The event is expected to attract a record
12,000 professionals from more than 70 countries and 400 exhibitors
from 14 countries.

The first confirmed keynote speaker for this year is Bob Greifeld, CEO of the NASDAQ OMX group, who will address conference attendees on global market conditions, the outlook for IPOs and Wall Street’s role in the future of the solar industry. The event will also host a CEO panel plenary session, which is sure to provide some interesting perspectives on the current markets, technologies and potential for industry growth.

Solar Power 2007
was a busy few days, with exhibit space sold out well before the event. This year’s event’s organisers encourage early registration to avoid disappointment.
