Canadian independent power producer (IPP) Boralex and its Swiss investor partner, Energy Infrastructure Partners, have secured €1.45 billion (US$1.65 billion) in financing to support Boralex's renewable energy business in France.

Total corporate funding in the solar PV industry reached US$22.2 billion in 2025, a 16% year-on-year decrease.

Juniper Green Energy has secured INR17.39 billion (US$197 million) in debt financing from government-backed Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA).

The construction of the Lidsø solar park started in the summer of 2024 and it is expected to be commissioned this summer.

The portfolio will consist of around 1,100 ground-mounted, rooftop and carport projects built across France, which are expected to be completed by 2027.

One of the first projects to benefit from Sunly's securing the €300 million debt financing is a 244MW solar PV plant in Estonia.
