The PV ModuleTech 2017 meeting starts tomorrow (7 November 2017) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, showcasing the key module issues that will guide site design and construction for large-scale solar sites in the next 12-18 months.

The leading mono-crystalline solar cell and module manufacturer LONGi Solar has introduced its first high-performance mono-PERC (Pasivated Emitter Rear Cell) bifacial module series that comes in both 60-cell and 72-cell configurations. LONGi Solar's 365W Hi-MO2 module has reached mass production.

Bifacial modules will be the standard utility-scale PV product for LONGi Solar, according the company’s president.
