Q Energy has reached financial close for Taurus B, a portfolio of seven solar PV plants in Spain with a combined capacity of 251.71MWp.

Q Energy and Velto Renewables have inaugurated Europe’s largest floating solar power plant in the Haute-Marne region of France.

Consisting of three utility-scale projects – 105MWp, 73MWp and 26MWp, respectively – the projects are expected to be completed in 2026.

Velto Renewables and Q Energy have announced plans to develop over 500MW of renewable energy capacity in Europe.

Once operational, the project will be the largest of its kind in Europe, according to the renewables developer.

Q Energy will begin construction on a floating solar project in north-eastern France this month, which will have a capacity of 74.3MW.

Berlin-based Q Energy and Dutch solar developer Tomorrow Energy will co-develop a 300MW solar PV portfolio in the Netherlands.
