Indian energy conglomerate Jakson Group will invest US$240 million to establish a 2.5GW solar cell manufacturing facility in India. It will also expand its module assembly capacity to 2GW.
The company filed two complaints in the Munich and Hamburg local divisions of the UPC, regarding tunnel oxide passivated contact (TOPCon) solar cell patent infringements.
The modules are being shipped to SolarPro, a Bulgarian engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company which specialises in renewable and hybrid energy projects.
