LG launches its first AC module with integrated microinverter to simplify installations

LG Electronics USA has launched the ‘NeON’ 2 ACe module in collaboration with Enphase Energy at Intersolar 2017. The high-efficiency AC module uses Enphase’s latest IQ6 microinverter technology, which integrated at the module assembly stage is designed to reduce installation time by half, compared with conventional modules, while offering cutting-edge technology.

PV INVERTER ROUND-UP: SMA Solar, SolarEdge and Enphase Q1 Results

PV inverter manufacturers SMA Solar, SolarEdge and Enphase have all recently reported first quarter 2017 financial results. GTM: Global PV inverter shipments to reach 90GW by 2020

Global shipments of PV inverters will reach 90GW by 2020, valuing at more than US$7.1 billion, according to GTM Research’s latest report, 'The Global PV Inverter and MLPE Landscape 2016'. This represents an average annual growth rate of 11% between 2016 and the end of the decade.

Enphase Energy ends ‘challenging’ year on a low

PV microinverter manufacturer Enphase Energy has cited 2015 as a challenging year for the company, which reported a full-year GAAP net loss of US$22.1 million on revenue of US$357.2 million, compared to US$343.9 million in 2014, a 4% increase.
