Giuseppe D'Elia, Upsolar’s country manager in Italy said: “The results of this Fire Resistance Test are a testament to the excellence of the materials used by Upsolar in the production of our high-quality photovoltaic modules. Upsolar’s modules, especially when combined with power optimizing solutions from our technology partners SolarEdge and Tigo Energy, are among the safest products currently available on the market. By minimizing the risk of the formation and spread of fire, our modules simplify operations for installers while assuring the safety of our customers for the long run.”

The UNI 9177 test complies with the “Guide to the Installation of Photovoltaic Systems – Edition 2012” published by the Italian Ministry of the Interior’s Department of Fire, Rescue and Public Civil Defence.
