centrotherm photovoltaics AG, a service provider for solar cell and solar silicon manufacturing, named Dr. Frank Faller (pictured) the new Managing Director at the company’s US subsidiary, centrotherm photovoltaics Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia.
Frank Faller, who has been in the solar industry for over 15 years, had previously been Head of Sales & Marketing at Deutsche Solar AG, SolarWorld’s wafer company, in addition to spending time at the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems.
Dr. Peter Fath, CTO of centrotherm photovoltaics said, “We are pleased to win Frank Faller as a well-known photovoltaic and market expert for our US–team, who will support us in extending our customer basis in the US, where we see high market potential.”
Faller said, “I am fully committed to support centrotherm photovoltaics in its overall aim to make solar power competitive with fossil fuels. In this new position I will be able to look at the photovoltaic business from a different angle as before. I value the chance to expand my expertise into thin-film technology, polysilicon and module production and to market the company’s broad product portfolio.”
