SunEdison Canada appoints new country manager

As Country Manager of SunEdison Canada, Ron Mantay will lead the company’s development of utility-scale and rooftop solar power projects and also takes on responsibility for the company’s business operations. His new role will see him report to company Vice President of International, Len Jornlin.

Mantay joins the company from Carmanah Technologies where he was Regional Sales Director, prior to which he worked with ATI Technologies Corporation as Program Manager and later as Director of North American Sales. He also held finance, engineering and management roles at IBM Corp. and Celestica Corp. over a 10-year timeframe earlier in his career.

Mr. Mantay has a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in mechanical engineering and an M.B.A., both from the University of Toronto.
