The Coalition for Affordable Solar Energy (CASE) announced GT Advanced Technologies and REC Silicon have been welcomed into the fold. The US-based companies will be joining the cause against the Coalition for American Solar Manufacturers (CASM) who claims Chinese manufacturers are trading unfairly.
Jigar Shah, president of CASE, welcomed REC and GTAT to the coalition of over 160 other American solar companies. “Having two major US solar manufacturers representing 1,500 manufacturing jobs join CASE is just one more indication of how united the US solar industry is in opposition to SolarWorld’s trade petition at the Department of Commerce.”
