Henan provincial government to form 100MW a-Si thin film JV

With an intended initial investment of approximately US$95.6 million 9HK$ 741 million) to establish a 100MW a-Si thin film production plant, a joint venture is being formed between China Gogreen Energy and Administration Committee of Zhengzhou High and New Technology Industries Development Zone, which is owned by Zhengzhou Municipal People’s Government, Henan Province, China.

The initial 100MW thin film plant is expected to be completed by August 2011. Plans were said to include a 150MW line at a cost of HK$1.1115 billion by October 2012.
Capacity would be further increased by another 150MW line in October 2013. These further expansions and investments take capacity to 400MW by the end of 2013.
