LONGi has supplied 2MW of its high efficiency Hi-MO 5 bifacial modules to Thai EPC KP Greenergy for a floating project in Thailand’s Saraburi Province. Under development since March 2021, the project has now been connected to the grid and become the province’s first floating PV project.

A research paper entitled “Prospects for photovoltaic technology”, authored by Li Zhenguo, founder & president of LONGi Green Energy Technology (also the principal of LONGi’s Central Research and Development Institute) has been published in Engineering, an academic journal of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.

LONGi has announced that it is the recipient of the 19th Annual Environment Excellence Award (AEEA 2022) from Pakistan's National Forum for Environment and Health (NFEH), for its vision and mission to effectively implement local and international environmental standards, as well as its compliance at the work facility. Ali Majid and Ghulam Mustafa, LONGi General Manager and Senior Manager for Pakistan respectively, together with Osman Mohammad, the company’s Product & Solutions Manager, formally received the award at the distribution ceremony. 

SOFARSOLAR has broken into the top 5 global hybrid inverter suppliers for 2021 with a global market share of over 7%, according to Wood Mackenzie’s 2022 "Global solar PV inverter and module-level power electronics (MLPE) market share" report.
