KACO new energy has signed off on a deal to supply 2.5MW of inverter capacity to Hungary. The order has been placed with Hungarian EPC and distributor Szalontai.
Both companies signed off on the deal for 50 inverters of type blueplanet 50.0 TL3 INT earlier in October. The units are waiting to be shipped, with the PV projects that they are designed for set to be finished by January 2017.
Szalontai’s order revolves around projects with an overall generation capacity of 2.5MW — which are set to be completed between November 2016 and January 2017. It is the single largest order from Eastern Europe in 2016.
The wall-mounted inverter has an integrated string collector and DC overvoltage protection in the XL variant ordered for the projects, which cuts down on working time during the installation. The units can also be configured remotely, saving the effort of individually adjusting the inverters within a system.
Krzysztof Zamozny, sales manager, Eastern Europe, at KACO new energy, said: “When an experienced company such as Szalontai places orders with us, this confirms that we have created the right mix of product properties, quality ‘Made in Germany’ and reasonable prices.”
