MW Zander’s Robert Gattereder new Senior VP New Business at Oerlikon Solar

Oerlikon Solar recently chose Robert Gattereder for the newly created position of Senior VP New Business where he will be expanding the business opportunities for the company. He brings over 15 years of operational experience with global industrial companies and has held senior management positions in finance, procurement, marketing and business development in the solar industry and industrial infrastructure.

In addition, Gattereder brings over 10 years of entrepreneurial familiarity within the renewable energy market. His functional experience of over 15 years in management positions includes eight years with MW Zander. During his last six years with MW Zander, he focused on the solar business and helped the company create an independent business unit directly focusing on solar technology related infrastructure business.

“Mr. Gattereder brings depth of knowledge and experience in Solar PV infrastructure and will be a great addition to our team.  He will be an asset as we explore and identify additional value creation opportunities for our existing customers and markets”, says Jeannine Sargent, CEO of Oerlikon Solar.
 
Gattereder has an M.B.A. from University of Innsbruck, Austria and will be based in Truebbach, Switzerland, Oerlikon Solar’s Headquarters.
