Gujarat awards just 250MW from gigawatt solar park tender

Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam (GUVNL) has awarded 250MW of solar out of a 1GW tender at the Dholera Solar Park.

The ceiling price was set at INR2.75/kWh and the L1 price for the auction ended at the same level with two companies submitting such bids.

The tender had gone through multiple delays and its final L1 bids were 10 paise higher than last week's solar auction for the Raghanesda Solar Park, also in Gujarat, which drew lowest bids of between 2.65-2.70 rupees. Both Tata and GIPCL won 100MW each in that auction as well.
