Intersolar: GCL-SI providing modules in Europe from Vietnam

China-based PV manufacturer GCL System Integration Technology (GCL-SI) has signed a supply deal with German-based wholesaler, Europe Solar Concept (ESC) to offer its modules across Europe that are produced by Vietnam-based OEM producer, Vina Solar Technology. 

This is the first distribution agreement signed by GCL-SI for the European market.

PV Tech previously highlighted that GCL-SI was establishing a 600MW solar cell plant at Vina’s Bac Giang facilities and would produce include around 330MW of PERC cell production. 

GCL-SI said it had made an initial 4.2MW shipment of modules to ESC, which include its GCL-P6/60 265W and GCL-P6/60 270W modules.
