The deadline for receipt of technical bids will be 5 December this year.

NETRA (NTPC Energy Technology Research Alliance), the R&D arm of NTPC, installed a 100kW floating solar plant at Kayamkulam in March.

Just last week, NTPC also tendered 225MW of solar using DCR rules at Billhaur in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

NSPCL EPC tender

NTPC-SAIL Power Company (NSPCL), a JV between NTPC and Steel Authority of India, has also issued a tender for EPC services on a 7MW solar project at the Bhilai Steel Plant, in Durg District, in the state of Chhattisgarh, under open category.

The tender requires O&M services for five years, as well as engineering and construction.

The deadline for receipt of technical bids will be 15 December.
