JSW Green Energy has placed an order for 500kW of United Solar’s thin-film laminates to help power a portfolio of planned on-grid rooftop projects in India. These installations are the latest signal of JSW’s intent to establish itself as one of India’s premier private power producers.

“JSW Green Energy is keen on developing special solar products suitable for rooftop mounting wherein Uni-Solar panels fit in very well. We plan to utilise their extensive solar photovoltaic industry expertise and superior flexible solar technology for on-grid solar applications in India. We want to establish a long and successful relationship with United Solar and look forward to employing their unique thin-film technology in pioneering rooftop projects in India,” said Shishir Tamotia, CEO of JSW Green Energy.
