Further to the company’s recent announcement of partnering with hotel chain BluSerena in Italy, Conergy has completed its fifth and sixth solar parks in the Apulia region of the country, which together have a total capacity of 1.5MW. The Parabita park has a capacity of 1MW and is kitted out with more than 4,600 Conergy PowerPlus modules, while the 500kW Nardo installation features almost 2,200 of the modules.

With the completion of these two parks, Conergy now has six Apulia-based solar parks in its portfolio, having completed the twin parks in San Marzano and two further plants at BluSerena’s beach resorts in Torre di Canne and Ginosa.

“Our new parks make two things clear,” commented Conergy Italy CEO Giuseppe Sofia. “First of all, the parks will provide long-term support to Apulia’s green development concept in order to preserve the environment. Secondly, our German PowerPlus Premium module is conquering the whole of Italy. And this is not happening by chance. Instead it is the result of our customers’ massively increased quality awareness.”
