Silicon Module Super League member Trina Solar has started supplying 488MW of its n-type industrial tunnel oxide passivated contacts (i-TOPcon) modules to a power station in Qinghai province, China.
The new lightweight module, tailored for C&I and residential rooftop projects, is a high-efficiency product based on N-type TOPCon technology with 54 182mm mono-crystalline wafer cells and is a significant addition to the company’s Ultra V Pro portfolio.
Jietai Solar has exhibited at SNEC 2023, showcasing its latest P-type PERC and N-type TOPCon products and attracting significant interest from visitors.
SEG Solar has launched its new generation product, the YUKON N-type TOPCon module, with a maximum power output of up to 580W and an ultra-high conversion efficiency of up to 22.45%.
The first of Trina Solar’s 210mm n-type i-TOPCon solar PV cells have been manufactured at its 8GW facility in Suqian, Jiangsu province, China. The cells are primarily intended for use in the new generation of its Vertex N modules.
Canadian Solar expects to start shipping the first TOPCon products early next year and will focus on the technology in the future with all new cell capacity.
JinkoSolar’s 182mm TOPCon N-type solar module has recorded a maximum solar conversion efficiency of 23.86%, topping the company’s previous record of 23.53% for an N-type module.
