SunEdison has started construction with local partner Sunergy of its
first solar power plant in Spain, which is expected to be completed by
the third quarter of 2008. Sunergy currently has over 20MW of PV
ground-mounted and rooftop projects under development in Spain.
SunEdison has over 31MW currently under management and over 52MW of
hands-on installation experience, the company said.

The new plant is a 7MW facility with SunEdison providing the equipment
supply, financing, design and construction oversight, while
Blue-Green-Capital and Sunergy provide local project development
services.
