Spain’s Acciona and Tuto Energy have teamed up to build what will be Mexico’s largest solar plant, by signing a PPA to add an additional 112MWp to the existing 227MWp Puerto Libertad solar project.
Spanish firm Acciona plans to invest €2 billion (US$2.15 billion) in renewables by 2020 to reach an installed capacity of 10.5GW under its new roadmap, the Sustainability Master Plan 2020 (SMP 2020).

Spain-based solar tracker and fixed structures manufacturer STi Norland has been chosen by renewables firm Acciona Energia to provide PV equipment and installations for around half of the El Romero solar plant, which will stand at 247MW in the Atacama desert of Chile.
