The International Finance Corporation (IFC) has finalised a US$653 million debt package for 13 solar projects at the Benban Solar Park, near Aswan in Egypt.
Wave energy technology developer and solar, battery microgrid project developer Carnegie Clean Energy (CCE) has secured a 12‐month AU$7.5 million (US$5.8 million) construction debt finance facility for its Northam Solar project in Western Australia from Perth-based private investment group Asymmetric Credit Partners.

Mitsui & Co., a major Japanese industrial conglomerate, has formed a Joint Venture (JV) with leading India mini-grid developer OMC Power to expand their mini-grid business into Africa. The new JV is part of a ¥1 billion (US$9 million) equity investment by Mitsui in OMC Power.
