US solar manufacturer T1 Energy has signed a deal to buy US-made polysilicon and wafers from ceramics and glass producer Corning.

US-based solar manufacturer T1 Energy has expressed support for the US government’s tariff investigations into global polysilicon imports and solar products from Laos, Indonesia and India.

T1 Energy has selected a local construction company, and secured a tax abatement package, to develop a Texas cell manufacturing factory.
