Upsolar advised that it had completed the installation of its latest project, which also happens to be the company’s largest project in the US to date: a 2.2MW solar plant in Sharon, Vermont. Talmage Solar Engineering oversaw the construction of the project, which uses Tigo Energy’s Module Maximizer technology and the company’s digital monitoring services at the module level.

The project is comprised of 9,562 UP-M230 polycrystalline modules that feature trigger points at 3, 7, 12, 16, 20 and 25 years through its reinforced warranty. “Upsolar’s reliable modules paired with Tigo Energy’s power optimizers offered us the ideal balance of quality, performance and affordability required to bring this project to life,” said Kale Inoue, CFO of Talmage Solar Engineering. “The combined advantages of the Upsolar’s tier-1 specs and Tigo Energy’s innovative technology will ensure that this system will outperform a traditional array at a lower cost per kilowatt hour.”
