Vivint Solar and Brahma Group enter EPC agreement for commercial and industrial solar

Distributed solar energy provider Vivint Solar and construction firm Brahma Group have entered into an agreement for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of solar energy projects for commercial and industrial businesses and organizations across the US.

Vivint Solar is responsible for financing, sales, and related services for the new commercial and industrial projects.

Brahma Group and its partner Hunt Electric will take on the construction and engineering of the projects. Brahma Group already has active solar projects nationwide. The strategic partnership with Hunt Electric ha already been the primary contractor for more than 400MW of solar projects.

Jan Newman, vice president of Business Development at Vivint Solar, said: “Aligning ourselves with Brahma Group is an important step for Vivint Solar and marks one of the several key strategic relationships that Vivint Solar is involved with as we expand into the commercial and industrial market.”

Rob Fox, vice president of Brahma Group, said: “For months we have worked with Vivint Solar to formulate a plan for mass deployment into this key market space.”
