Astronergy appoints GM for North America

Thomas Koerner has joined Astronergy (Chint Solar) as general manager North America. Koerner will be responsible for all related business activities including sales and market strategy, and will support the company in worldwide product strategy and marketing.

With many years of industrial and business experience, Koerner has spent the past nine years with Heliatek GmbH in Dresden as VP sales, marketing, and business development, and for Schüco International KG as division manager PV, managing the global PV product portfolio, R&D and sourcing related activities of the PV division. He also served as VP products and business development for Schüco´s North America Solar Business.

Koerner completed his studies as an engineer in semiconductor and microsystems technologies as well as his master of business and engineering (M.B.E) degree.
