PV Powered NJ installationPV Powered commercial inverters have been installed in a new office-building project in Lakewood, New Jersey.  Premier Power Renewable Energy completed the design, engineering and installation of the project, which also features new high-density CIGS thin-film cylindrical solar panels by Solyndra.

Thin-film PV manufacturer Solyndra signs Allied Building as first North American distributor

Project Focus: Solis Partners installs another Solyndra PV system on Foodtown supermarket rooftop

solis_norkus_solyndraSolar systems integrator Solis Partners has completed the fourth of six installations for Norkus Enterprises, operator of Foodtown supermarkets in Monmouth and Ocean counties in New Jersey. The combined rooftop system features Solyndra's CIGS PV panels and will be reportedly one of the largest installations of the thin-film company's tubular-module-based products in the United States.

Italian PV integrator Sun System, CIGS panel maker Solyndra sign $105 million framework deal

solyndra_carlisleSolyndra has signed a multiyear framework agreement worth up to $105 million with Milan, Italy-based solar integrator Sun System. The copper-indium-gallium-(di)selenide (CIGS) thin-film solar panels for this Euro-based agreement will be manufactured at Solyndra's facilities in Fremont and Milpitas, CA. The latest deal pushes the announced amount of deals cut by the TFPV firm to nearly $650 million since May.

Solyndra snags PV supply sales contract with German solar integrator Ebitschenergietechnik

solyndra_hqThin-film photovoltaics producer Solyndra has signed another long-term sales contract, this time with German solar integrator Ebitschenergietechnik. The Euro-based contract, worth up to $115 million, extends through 2013 and pushes Solyndra's contractual backlog to approximately $1.8 billion. The cylindrical copper-indium-gallium-(di)selenide (CIGS) TFPV panels will be manufactured at the company's facilities in Fremont and Milpitas, CA.

Costco taps Solar Power Inc. to design, install solar system with Solyndra modules

solyndra_arrayCostco has tapped Solar Power Inc. to design and install a 500-kW (AC) photovoltaic system at the retailer's Hazlet, NJ, store. The array will employ Solyndra's cylindrical copper-indium-gallium-(di)selenide (CIGS) thin-film PV modules. The installation will be the single largest commercial PV system to date that incorporates Solyndra panels.
