EnterSolar advised that the installation of an 877kW rooftop PV system at Chelten House Products’ Bridgeport, New Jersey, facility had been completed. The system uses over 3,650 solar panels and is set to produce over 1,000,000kWh of electricity per year. Over the next 25-years the PV project is expected to generate 26 million kWh of electricity, which is said to be enough to power over 125 homes.

“As a leader in the organic and all-natural food segments, environmental sustainability is a core principal for us,” said Steve Dabrow, CEO of Chelten House Products, “and we are proud that more than 50% of our processing facility’s annual electricity requirements will now be met with clean and renewable energy generated from our onsite solar system.”
