The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has issued a request for selection (RfS) for 650MW of grid-connected solar PV projects at the Kadapa Solar Park in Andhra Pradesh.

The capacity, which is split into 500MW open category and 150MW under Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) rules, comes under the National Solar Mission, phase II, batch IV.

Last March, Indian state-owned utility NTPC also issued an RfS for solar developers to set up a 250MW solar PV project in the Kadapa Solar Park.
