The investigation came in response to a petition filed by India-based integrated PV manufacturer Renewsys India, the renewable energy arm of conglomerate, Enpee Group. Renewsys is the largest producer of EVA sheets in India and the petition was backed by two other domestic producers, Vishakha Renewables and Allied Glasses.

Meanwhile, the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) has published a list of companies and organisations that submitted rejoinders in the recent oral hearing regarding safeguard duty on imports of solar cells and modules. The list can be found here. DGTR is now considering all the rejoinders.
