Korean utility installs floating solar at coal-fired power plant

South Korean state-utility Korea East-West Power Co. (EWP) has completed a 3.5MW floating solar project at a coal-fired power plant, according to Yonhap News Agency.

Modules were deployed on a water body near a coal ash deposit site at the Dangjin power station. The solar facility will produce enough power for the equivalent of 1,600 households.
