TUV Rheinland's Energy Yield evaluation tests require the simulations of climatic environments in five different regions worldwide – Cologne (Germany), Datong (China), Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Chennai (India) and Los Angeles (USA).

At the conclusion of the tests, LONGi Solar’s 60-cell mono module was named the best performing module and winner in the mono group.

LONGi Solar noted that it spent more than RMB 1.8 billion (US$285 million) on R&D activities in the past five years.
