‘Silicon Module Super League’ (SMSL) member LONGi Solar, subsidiary of LONGi Green Energy, the leading integrated monocrystalline PV manufacturer has received for the second year in a row an award from testing services firm TUV Rheinland for "PV Module Energy Yield Simulation (Mono Group)," part of the "All Quality Matters" awards.
Wenxue Li, President of LONGi Solar said, "LONGi Solar has always been committed to giving to our customers the best products and services. This award is the result of objective measurement, and it also underlines the excellent performance of LONGi Solar mono modules with regard to energy yield. LONGi Solar will work harder to live up to your trust and expectations, make more reliable and efficient products, and provide customers with more cost-effective services."
TUV Rheinland's Energy Yield evaluation tests require the simulations of climatic environments in five different regions worldwide - Cologne (Germany), Datong (China), Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Chennai (India) and Los Angeles (USA).
At the conclusion of the tests, LONGi Solar’s 60-cell mono module was named the best performing module and winner in the mono group.
LONGi Solar noted that it spent more than RMB 1.8 billion (US$285 million) on R&D activities in the past five years.
Going into its fifth year over 200 delegates from 150 companies and 20 countries representing the PV supply chain will gather in Malaysia to discuss the technology roadmaps for PV cell advancement in GW markets. The scope of the event has been expanded this year, to cover developments in wafer supply and thin-film investments and technologies alongside all the regular benefits to all stakeholders tracking PV technology and investment trends for the next 5 years.
