Singapore-headquartered solar manufacturer EliTe Solar has commissioned a solar cell production plant in Indonesia.

The financing will go towards the company’s solar cell production and module assembly plant in Fort Mill, York County, South Carolina.

Solar PV infrastructure company Desert Technologies intends to build a solar cell and module assembly plant in Saudi Arabia.

Construction of the cell plant in Ethiopia is expected to start in November 2024, with the start of production aimed at the end of the first quarter of 2025.
