Azure Power commissions 150MW solar project in Rajasthan

Indian developer Azure Power has commissioned a 150MW PV plant at Bhadla solar park in the northwest Indian state of Rajasthan. 

This is the first 150MW of 200MW awarded to Azure by Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), with a tariff of INR2.48 (~US 3.6 cents) per kWh for 25 years.

The plant brings Azure's tally to 1.6GW of operational solar assets, spread across 24 states, including a rooftop portfolio of over 200MW.
