LONGi Solar has released its new Hi-RO Onyx premium module at the Solar Solutions event in the Netherlands. Designed for use in all rooftop applications, the module is based on the company’s proprietary monocrystalline wafer and adopts LONGi's innovative solar cell and module technology to deliver the highest efficiency and reliability. The cell is half-cut with Zero Busbar (ZBB) technology and has no visible busbars.

Huawei Technologies has announced that it has won the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Climate Solver award for 2020 for its world-leading FusionSolar Smart PV solution. The award ceremony took place during the 2021 Climate Action Week/Zero Carbon Mission International Climate Summit in Beijing, co-organized by the WWF and Phoenix TV, and the FusionSolar solution was judged the winner from a host of candidates following a rigorous selection process.
