Judges had noted that interconnected technologies were increasingly enabling app-based services such as monitoring and system operation as well as smart home and smart grid applications.

The SUN2000-20KTL-M0 was said to enable a flexible set-up for commercial systems. Although the design does not incorporate a fan, the system is lightweight and compact. It is combined with performance optimizers if necessary due to any shading issues or differing module orientations. The integrated error diagnostics and energy management system ensure trouble-free operation with or without a battery storage system.

At Intersolar 2019, Huawei also launched the SUN 2000 3-20KTL Inverter & the 375W-P2 2nd generation optimizer solution. At the event, Huawei also demonstrated its FusionSolar 6.0 Smart PV Solution that covers utility-scale applications.

The SUN2000-185KTL extensively integrates digital information technology and AI with photovoltaics. The company claims the SUN2000-185KTL provides 3% higher yields.
