JA Solar has entered into an agreement with Shanxi Electric Power Engineering (SEPEC) to supply high-efficiency mono PERC PV modules for a 257MW plant in Phu Yen, Vietnam.

The installation, contracted by SEPEC and developed by B. GRIMM, stands as a key addition to a growing Vietnamese PV sector. JA Solar's modules were chosen due to their long-term reliability and environmental adaptability tests, with Vietnam located in a region under extreme environmental conditions, featuring constant high temperatures and heavy humidity.
