US independent power producer (IPP) Silicon Ranch has secured a US$500 million investment from Danish fund manager AIP Management.

The IPP has a renewables portfolio of 1.9GW solar, wind and energy storage capacity operational or under construction.

The portfolio will consist of around 1,100 ground-mounted, rooftop and carport projects built across France, which are expected to be completed by 2027.

US PV manufacturer Silfab Solar has signed a 350MW module supply agreement with independent power producer (IPP) Pivot Energy.

Consisting of three utility-scale solar projects in the central region of Lazio, the projects are expected to be operational by 2026.

French independent power producer Reden has recently launched a module assembly line with an annual nameplate capacity of 200MW in France.

Estonian independent power producer (IPP) Sunly has started construction of a 244MW solar PV plant in its home country.

The portfolio consists of three solar plants – Belinchón I, II and III – , all located in the central region of Castilla-La Mancha.

Independent power producer BNZ has closed a financing deal worth €680 million (US$741million) to fund its ongoing solar portfolio expansion plans in southern Europe.

According to Alight, the portfolio facility is thought to be the first of its kind in the Nordics, with the first three projects already financed.
