KSTAR has provided its GSM3125D-MV35 turnkey solution for a 100MW PV project in China’s Qinghai province. The project is expected to generate an annual 167 million kilowatt-hours of renewable energy, saving 53,500 tons of standard coal and eliminating 166,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.

GoodWe has taken part in PV storage testing by the University of Applied Sciences (HTW) in Berlin for the third consecutive year, with a total of 21 different storage systems in the 5 and 10 kilowatt power classes examined to determine System Performance Index (SPI). The two GoodWe hybrid inverters tested, the ET and EH, achieved an SPI of 93.4% and 91.2% respectively, together with BYD batteries.

Sungrow has announced the signing of a 66 MW/253 MWh energy storage contract with the Doral Group, an Israel-based renewable energy and environmental infrastructure developer. This will be Israel’s first DC-coupled liquid cooled energy storage project and will further enhance the stability and reliability of the country’s grid.

LONGi has announced that it has won a contract to supply 406MW of its Hi-MO 5 bifacial modules to the SEPCOIII Electric Power Construction Company for Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea Project. Located on the Kingdom’s west coast, the project will be completely powered by renewable energy on a scale not previously achieved anywhere in the world, with energy to be generated via solar panels and wind turbines to meet initial demand of 210MW, with further expansion planned.
