SolarEdge takes patent infringement case against Huawei to China

Major PV inverter manufacturer SolarEdge Technologies is taking its patent infringement case against Huawei Technologies to the Regional Courts of Jinan and Shenzhen in China, after fillings in Germany in June and July 2018. 

SolarEdge said that the claimed patent infringements related to its DC optimized inverter technology and had filed three lawsuits in the Chinese courts.

The first three lawsuits in Germany include Huawei Technologies Co, Huawei Technologies Düsseldorf GmbH and German distributor, WATTKRAFT Solar.
